The “Place des Victoires” stands in the heart of Paris, at the crossroads of the Sentier, Bourse, Halles and Louvre districts. Built between 1685 and
1686 to celebrate the victories of Louis XIV, it is today a main fashion spot and has inspired many places in France due to its circular architecture.
It is one of the five royal squares in Paris.
